Dr. Slaughter is available to consult on various engineering projects throughout the calendar year. She is also available to consult with private industry during the school year if funding is provided directly to VSU in the form of a grant, student support, salary support, a donation to the University, etc.
Dr. Slaughter is actively involved with Building An Educated Student (BAES), which works with elementary, middle, and high schools in developing an integrated learning system, which guides students through all stages of their learning lifecycle. Integrated learning is an effective learning solution, because it allows each student and instructors to tie learning solutions to the students’ educational objectives, thus allowing full assessment of the skills of individuals, track progress, increase retention, and validate learning success across the entire program. Dr. Slaughter is committed to working with parents, classroom teachers, school officials, and students to ensure success through a clear comprehensive mission for every student.
Dr. Slaughter has taken many pleasant journeys with her clients from idea to graphic reality, a perfect blend of hot passion and cold logic. She is experience in apparel graphic design, advertising design, package design, custom illustrations, color slide presentations, brochures, direct mail, newsletters, catalogs, posters, trade shows, web site design, video editing, flash animations, and complete corporate identity. She uses only the most creative illustration and design concepts, utilizing traditional techniques as well as the latest technology in computer graphics.
