Currently, the Center has the following grants:
$249,483 Major Research Instrumentation (MRI) grant from NSF for the acquisition of a molecular imaging system to continue faculty & student research in an interdisciplinary biosystems and engineering research program.
$85,000 Broadening Participation Research Initiation Grants in Engineering (BRIGE)grant from NSF for the design of Nano-pattern modified microelectrodes for the improvement of continuous in vitro glucose monitoring detection.
$99,600 cost sharing is provided by Virginia State University Department of Engineering & Technology.
$12,000 Research Initiation Grant (RIG) from the Virginia State University to design a nanobiosensor for detecting glucose.
