Dr. Akbar is an Assistant Professor in Computer Engineering in the Department of Engineering & Technology. His research interests include semiconductor integrated circuits , materials science and processing, fiber optics, and energy. He received his B.S in Chemical Engineering from Lafayette College M.S. in Nuclear Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He receive his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University.
