Asheli is an undergraduate Computer Engineering student in the Center for Biosystems & Engineering. The BioPatch Team consist of Melodie Poarch, Asheli Cherry, and Edward Mumford. Under the direction of Dr. Slaughter and Dr. Keith Williamson, this research project focuses on the design and the fabrication of a smart biopatch. The BioPatch team based on Surface Acoustic wave (SAW) device is currently investigating surface modification, adhesives, and biocompatibilty associated with biopatch.
