Computer Engineering Program Description

Computer Engineering is concerned with the analysis, design, and application of computer systems. It includes design of computer based real-time data acquisition systems, analysis and design of computer hardware, software, and their tradeoffs. Computer engineering is more concerned with the physical implementation of computing devices, the interaction between hardware and software, and the methodologies for designing digital systems. An industry involved with electronics and computers has many positions classified as computer engineering. Since most industries rely heavily on computers and automation, there are indeed many computer engineering positions for graduates in this field.
