Dr. Gymama Slaughter

Dr. Gymama Slaughter´s research interests are in the areas of molecular engineering, bionanotechnology, biomedical studies, and the applications of biosensors and bioelectronics. Additional interests include surface chemistry of polymers related to bio-immobilizations, biocompatability and implantable biosensors; chemical and biosensor devices based on redox-active and electroconductive polymers; thin polymer films fabricated on metallic and semiconductor device; and AC impedance spectroscopy applied to the study of ion and small molecule transport in organic thin films and bio-membranes as it relates to signal transmission.
