Tracking and managing items in a quick time frame Project Term: June 2008 through August 2008 Sponsor: Bent Systems Sylvanus Bent site: http://www.bentsystems.com Overview: Bent Systems helped to write the worldwide standards for RFID, and we are using this insight to develop software to help organizations to track and manage their valuable physical assets using wireless RFID tags. Using our products, these organizations can optimize their business processes, reduce costs or increase revenue, and improve customer satisfaction. (http://www.bentsystems.com/about.shtml) Mission The Trojan Student Practice Company will be assisting the Department of Engineering by including RFID tags in their inventory. We will be tracking items of the following: Laptops Computers Monitors Printers Networking Equipment Printers TV/VCR/DVD LCD Projectors Vehicles Furniture Instruments We will also be responsible for planning the projects, programing the software, and hardware. We will be working with applications provided by Bent Systems.
